Dear participants and guests of ARCTIC OPEN!
In early December the International Film Festival ARCTIC OPEN is
traditionally held in the Arkhangelsk Region. It will again transform
our region into the cinematography area.

Being a socially significant outreach project, ARCTIC OPEN
has been supported by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural
Initiatives, the Russian Culture Ministry and the Arkhangelsk
Region Government for several years.

This celebration of cinematography relies on professional
organizers’ team, who can surprise both participants and
viewers. It is reassuring that the Festival organizers fill the project
with an educational aspect, attracting not only professionals, but
also students, pupils and creative families, which is especially
relevant during the Year of the Family, announced by the Russian
President.

After the Film Festival is over, the project goes on. Soon films will
be available to residents of settlements across the Arkhangelsk
Region and other regions in the country.
I invite everyone to watch good films! I wish the organizers good
luck and implementation of all plans, the competitive program
participants – victory, the audience – bright emotions and
pleasant discoveries
