An animated documentary based on sketches and drawings by Joseph Brodsky that follows a cat and his alter-ego cat as they travel through
they travel through time and each other’s destinies…
The film combines modern cinematography, documentary footage, computer graphics and animation techniques to recreate the atmosphere of the poet’s city, based on his drawings and his father’s photographs.
One And A Half of A Cat is a prelude to Khrzhanovsky’s full-length film In A Room And A Half Or A Sentimental Journey To Motherland.
