< PROLONGED VISITS>
Father Alexander, 70, leads a forlorn life of a retiree. Once in a detention center he encounters a bitter 20-year-old Violetta who is deaf and dumb from birth and in whom he recognizes a child he baptized 20 years ago. Father Alexander wants to help Violetta and requests a prolonged visit.

Russian film director and screenwriter Georgy Lyalin holds a degree in film directing from Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (class of A. Eshpai & V. Fenchenko, 2016) and is based in Moscow. He is the author of award-winning films Dura (Best Director – KONIK Festival, Moscow, 2017; Saint Anna FF, 2018), Rasputye (Best Debut – Stalker, 2021; Special Jury Mention “For Sharpness and Audacity; Window to Europe FF – Russian Film Critics Guild Award for Best Directorial Debut, 2020).
