This project brings the ARCTIC OPEN official selection to remoter places in Arkhangelsk Province, allowing them to join the area’s largest film event.
It is a good opportunity to see premiere films, independent films, non-commercial and experimental films, meet with actors and film directors, ask them questions and provide feedback on the films.
There is a reason why the organizers seek to embrace multiple audiences: they want the participating film directors to get more feedback and see the impressions the audiences get from the films while watching.
Alongside this, Big Cinema to Small Screens gives filmmakers the opportunity to see the northern hinterland and maybe use some of the places as shooting locations for their future projects.
