< “Wildlife Cinema. Dialogue with Wildlife Cinematographer”>
At “Wildlife Cinema. Dialogue with Wildlife Cinematographer” workshop, host Mikhail
Rodionov will be showing his students how to watch the animals and share the techniques in
use by wildlife filmmakers. If one is to make a captivating story about wildlife, they need to
take an in-depth look at the environment surrounding their characters, not only learn about
the species they are filming. Wildlife cinematographers make popular science films about
wildlife, national parks, nature reserves, and people whose lives are inextricably linked with
nature. Filming may take days, weeks, and even months, resulting in true-to-life footage of
beautiful scenery, made with as little interference as possible. The session is a wonderful
opportunity for children to learn more about nature from the authentic wildlife stories
featuring national parks, nature reserves, and people who take care of this stunningly
beautiful world.
