The Sea Room is a short film based on archival materials. Synopsis: The room of the sea is a race against time where desires alternate with regrets – a natural act of breathing that mixes with the movements of the waves. Written and directed by Carlo Prozzo, the film screened as part of Monk Film Festival’s non-competition programme and has been chosen by the Arctic Open International Film Festival to open its selection of children’s films.

A native of Benevento, Carlo Prozzo has a great passion for music, reading and cinematography (Godard, Fellini and Vigo are some of the filmmakers Carlo has a great appreciation of). Carlo holds a degree in Law from the University of Milan and earned a second degree in Privacy & Tech Law (24ORE Business School), majoring also in Cybersecurity & Risk Management (Harvard). He then studied Screenwriting at the Holden School and graduated from the Academy of Cinema and Television in Benevento. In 2022 Carlo decided to devote himself fully to the world of cinema and writing and authors a number of short films.
