Mazen Haj Kassem is a film director, producer and film festivals manager from Syria. He currently resides in Denmark, managing film festivals in multiple European countries and Scandinavia. Mazen spent his childhood in Denmark and moved to Damascus to pursue Acting and Film Direction. He returned to Denmark following the outbreak of war in Syria and began to work as a director at the Danish television. Mazen authors the program Power. He directed and acted in two Danish plays that were screened in the biggest galleries such as The Musikhuset in Aarhus, Europe’s capital of culture, and Copenhagen’s Museum of Arts.
