FILM SELECTION “ARCTIC… UNTIL CALLED FOR”
The Taimyr. Peninsula, Cape Chelyuskin, the archipelagos of Severnaya Zemlya, Franz Josef Land, Novaya Zemlya, Graham Bell Island, Alexandra Land, Hayes, and Rudolf Land are just some of the destinations along the routes followed by the honored polar pilot Yuri Petrov. A pilot’s career isn’t long, but Petrov didn’t part ways with the sky and the North even when he retired. He is the driving force of the work to redesign the famous cropduster An-2 – his contribution to small aircraft development for the Arctic.

Режиссер. Член СК России, член Евразийской академии телевидения и радиовещания (ЕАТР). Родился 04 октября 1958 года в г. Ленинграде. Окончил Ленинградское мореходное училище. Работал начальником радиостанции на судах рыболовного флота.
С 2018 – автор и продюсер проекта «Неизвестные герои Севера».
Участник IV МКФСА ARCTIC OPEN 2020 год.
