The story of an unassuming blanket on display in a military museum in Norther Norway, made by Dagni Loe, 90, who lives in a small place on the Norwegian Sea coast. When World War II began, she was a fisherman’s wife with eight children. She and her husband participated in the resistance struggle against fascism. Her husband was executed and Dagni sent to a concentration camp in Germany. There she began to embroider a blanket with the flags of the countries of her fellow sufferers...
